Holy crap! I've got a blog?!?
Alright, so how many people would believe that I have a rare illness that makes me forget I have a blog, and that every month or so, I run across this one, really relate to it, then realize it's actually mine?
So that's no one, right?
O.K. Here's what's up in my world. Starting this week, I'm now part-time at the bike shop so that I can focus on starting my Tui na practice. D and I are going to Miami for a week at the end of the month to visit my insane Cuban family.
Bike stuff? Well, I have a set of Phil Wood hubs coming in for the Filly. And I just got my Wingnut Gear Hyper 3.0 pack. You can read a review of it in this month's Bike. It really is everything it's cracked up to be. Easily the most comfortable hydration pack i've used, plenty of room for my needs- 3 liters of water, tubes, tools, food, small rodents... It's good. My back has never felt better with a full load on it.
Where did I choose to test it out? Well, Tuesday, JohnE and I took a road trip up to Austin to ride the fabled Greenbelt. Good ride, including the "Hill of Life." It's called this obviously because the name "Hill of Holy-Mother-of-God-I-think-my-eyes-are-bleeding" was already trademarked.
I'm done. Apparently, I need to work my way up to decent posts.
