April already?
Sooo, things didn't go as planned from the last post. We ended up missing the exit towards Rocky Hill, and decided to try and ride the Barton Springs Greenbelt on D's birthday.
Suffice it to say I got us hopelessly lost. We got about 30 minutes of riding in before we had to go back.
On the bright side, she loves her new bike! I completed the build with pink tassels, and she's been taking it out almost daily for rides in the park.
In fact, yesterday, to celebrate the time change, we went for a ride in the park with our friend Fernando on his new fixed gear Kona A'Ha.
Two things: first, D killed it. She is riding stuff better on her fully rigid singlespeed than she was on her geared bike. Second, Fern seems like he was born to ride fixed off-road.

Next Sunday, my first trailwork day since moving to Texas- Madrone, bitches...

los, yo man, the blog has slowed way down man, you're either working too hard, or riding too much to update. Let me know when you want to do some big wheel stuff. Oh, yeah do I owe you anything for the bar wrap? Works great, better than the Ouri's for me.
